Job Overview

Wire Person Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wire Person to join our team in Fairford. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues and act as a mentor to new team members.
  • Utilize advanced skills in crimping, soldering, measuring materials, and electronic assembly, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Accurately record details of assemblies in our internal computer system and on paper documents.
  • Contribute suggestions for process improvements to the Team Leader and Production Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and handle assembly parts with care.
  • Pursue ongoing training and certification to enhance skills and maintain IPC620 certification.
  • Complete online safety training and prioritize health and safety on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Hold IPC620 certification.
  • Display significant experience in similar organizations within our industry, demonstrated through a trade test.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and independence.
  • Communicate effectively to address problems and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Eager to learn and grow with our company.
