Job Title: Project Engineer - Airfield Engineering Asset

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering solutions into live operational service for our suite of products across our entire customer portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build, commissioning, and upgrades of NEC Software Solutions bespoke Communication and CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) products solutions into our customer environments.
  2. Fault finding our product suite of solution/s at both hardware and software levels.
  3. When required, create, review, and update NEC Engineering documentation, for example, workplans, work instructions, and technical guides.
  4. The role is primarily completed on customer sites as demand requires, therefore, you will be expected to work from a variety of locations and extensive travel should be expected, including overnight stays.
  5. The role will require working both in a team and, potentially, autonomously where projects dictate a limited engineering requirement.
  6. Continually follow and adhere to NEC Software Solutions outlined process & procedures.
  7. A good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory / Domain Architecture.
  8. Proven experience of administering and working with Microsoft Windows 11, Windows Server up to 2022.
  9. Proven Experience deploying Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems.
  10. Proven Experience deploying Microsoft Windows Updates (WSUS).
  11. Working knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL (running backups, running queries, etc).
  12. MS Business Applications experience including Excel, Visio, Word.
  13. Proven experience working to ITIL best practices.
