Job Title: Urology Specialist

Location: Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist training and competencies in the surgical management of kidney cancer and stone disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a middle grade, non-resident 1 in 9 on-call rota.
  • Gain experience in all aspects of endourological surgery, including ESWL, ureteroscopy for stones and urothelial carcinoma and PCNL as well as metabolic stone disease.
  • Engage in high-impact translational research.

Requirements:

  • Completed a minimum of five years Specialty Registrar or equivalent training in Urology in the UK or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.

Salary: £70,425 to £72,211 per annum pro rata
