Purchase Ledger Clerk Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Telecom Acquisitions Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and reconciling large invoice support files
- Reviewing and posting purchase invoices, as well as reviewing and processing expense forms
- Reconciling supplier statements and corresponding with suppliers to resolve queries
- Producing payment runs, cash posting, and cashflow preparation
- Preparing and submitting direct debit files, allocation of customer payments to sales ledger, and review of customer refunds
- Bank reconciliations and liaison with team members and other teams
Requirements:
- IT literate with excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines without direct, daily supervision
- A positive, pro-active, and personable individual with a sense of humour
- Sage 200 experience is an advantage, and 2 years of purchase ledger experience is desirable
