The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering integrated digital marketing campaigns and playing a key role in strategic discussions about how SEO can solve client business challenges and drive marketing performance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out technical site audits and creating clear roadmaps and evidence-based strategies to deliver results for clients
  • Contributing to the new business process by creating high-impact audits on prospective clients' digital position
  • Taking ownership of clients' digital performance and technical integrity
  • Defining key metrics that drive SEO performance and creating qualitative and quantitative reporting to show progress
  • Developing and implementing link acquisition plans, including identifying target sites, content opportunities, and content ideas
  • Carrying out competitor analysis, backlink audits, keyword research, and other research projects as required
  • Providing detailed site architecture and URL structure recommendations to in-house development teams
  • Troubleshooting and debugging roadblocks in search engines or users accessing content
  • Resolving complex indexation and crawlability issues

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of SEO principles and Google best practice, proficiency in using the Microsoft Office package, and experience with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

They will also have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with website crawling tools and popular CMS platforms like WordPress.
