Maintenance Engineer and Asset Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer and Asset Specialist to join our Customer Engineering service team. As a Maintenance Engineer and Asset Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of customer-owned equipment, ensuring it is properly installed, operated, documented, enhanced, and maintained.

Key responsibilities include liaising with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and identifying opportunities for growth in specialist equipment and maintenance services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in the gas industry, with a diverse range of clients from NHS, Hospitality, and retail. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues across two sites.

As a Maintenance Engineer and Asset Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a regional portfolio of customer-owned equipment, ensuring that it is properly maintained and operated. This will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including customers, engineers, and other technical specialists.

  • Responsible for the installation and maintenance of customer-owned equipment
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations
  • Identify opportunities for growth in specialist equipment and maintenance services

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer and Asset Specialist with experience in similar industries, such as chemical, air conditioning, HVAC, and gas. If you have a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND/Fetac Level 6 qualification or significant experience in a similar role/industry, we encourage you to apply.
