Job Title: Forklift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer to join our team at Professional Technical Ltd. As a Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a fleet of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet trucks, and automated trucks.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Work with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and equipment advancements through ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering or mechanics.
  • Technical experience in engines, electrics, or hydraulics, including all engine types.
  • IT literacy and comfort with using the latest technology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
