Role Overview

Farsight Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Expert to join our team. As an Agile Delivery Director, you will be responsible for leading digital transformation projects and driving business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile government projects and shape the delivery management community. You will have the chance to apply your agile delivery expertise pragmatically to guide teams to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the team in aligning their work to priorities and the roadmap, holding them accountable for deliverables, and identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • You will build relationships with clients and stakeholders, developing an understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • You will promote ways of working in your team, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • You will contribute to the Farsight delivery management community of practice, sharing experiences and learnings.

Requirements

  • Agile expertise: You have knowledge and experience applying agile methods in a team context to achieve great outcomes.
  • Building and managing relationships: You can build and maintain strong relationships, demonstrating emotional intelligence and recognising the different needs of diverse team members and clients.
  • Communication: You have strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, which you can leverage to build relationships and facilitate effectively.
  • Planning and project execution: You can collaborate with clients and the team to bring together a plan for delivery, facilitating sprint planning and holding team members accountable through standups and sprint reviews.
  • Leadership: You have an understanding of different leadership styles/techniques and how they can be applied in a delivery management role to support team members to work and deliver effectively.
  • Commercial acumen: You can support the management of a project budget through calculations of burndown, identifying potential commercial risks, and escalating/mitigating them proactively.
  • Adaptability: You show flexibility in your approach, willingness to learn new skills and approaches, and adaptability to meet changing requirements.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
