Join Our Team as a Chartered Accountant - Audit and Advice

At Pro Talent, we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Chartered Accountant to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our audit and advice team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our charity and social purpose clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Undertake client work as directed, mainly involving statutory audits, but also encompassing other client assignments such as compliance tax, due diligence, VAT, internal audit, and training activities.
  2. Follow our firm's policies and procedures on all work to achieve high standards and deliver an excellent service to clients.
  3. Provide effective supervision and training to less experienced trainee accountants who are undertaking audit work.
  4. Work alone at client premises with minimal supervision, presenting completed audit files for manager review, which includes management letters.
  5. Maintain all required records for the ICAEW training file and submit this for review every 6 months during the training agreement.
  6. Fulfill the obligations outlined in the training agreement regarding study progress.
  7. Hold a British university degree at class 2:2 or above (or equivalent), or have passed AAT finals (Professional Diploma, level 4).
  8. If you have a 2:2 degree, you must have at least five GCSEs at grades 9 to 5 or equivalent, including at least grade 6 in Maths and at least grade 5 in English.
  9. If you have a 2:1 degree (or above) or have passed AAT finals (Professional Diploma, level 4), you must have at least grade 6 in Maths and at least grade 5 in English for GCSEs or equivalent.
Work Experience

At least one year of experience while training for your ACA qualification.
