Pharmacy Manager Opportunity

Daytime Healthcare Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced and confident Pharmacy Manager to join their Private Hospital in Kent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an exemplary pharmacy service, adhering to current legislation, clinical requirements, and professional standards.
  • Offer advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients, ensuring safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Advise on safe medicine management for the hospital and its departments, maintaining compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
  • Promote a patient-focused, multidisciplinary approach to delivering an efficient, high-quality healthcare service.
Requirements
  • Be General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) registered, with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level.
  • Analyse clinical and management problems, developing viable solutions.
  • Work as a practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Challenge consultants to influence evidence-based practice.
  • Share evidence-based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards.
  • Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for the service.
  • Clinical leadership experience, including developing peers.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Clinical diploma desirable.
  • Supervisory/Management qualification.
  • Experience of working in partnership with consultants and across clinical teams.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience of working within an independent sector hospital pharmacy department.
