Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Lead C&I Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Control and Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for leading technical decisions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical documents.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve engineering documents, including calculations, specifications, and drawings, to ensure compliance with specification and functional integrity.
- Support the preparation and review of drawings, including general arrangements, cables routes, block diagrams, and loops sheets.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead on project technical decisions and attend internal and external project review meetings.
- Monitor changes in scope of work and raise change notifications with the Project Manager.
- Input to project plans and schedules, and cost estimates.
- Identify the scope of work required to undertake a project and allocate the appropriate C&I resources.
- Engineering degree or relevant industry experience.
- Significant, demonstrable experience in detailed design engineering.
- Experience of developing, reviewing, and approving instrument deliverables, such as general arrangements, cables routes, block diagrams, and loops sheets.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, specification, configuration, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of industrial communication systems.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications.
