2025 Graduate Programme – Commercial Management

Mace is a global consultancy that helps lead the way to a more connected, resilient, and sustainable future. Our two business 'engines' – Consult and Construct – bring to life iconic projects that support communities worldwide.

This role is part of our 2025 Graduate Programme, a two-year programme that offers structured on-the-job training and real responsibility from day one. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, receive ongoing support from skilled mentors, and gain exposure to various areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support cost management services from contract signature to completion of projects
  • Assist with preparing contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses
  • Support administration of the terms of the building contract
  • Assist in measuring and providing valuations of the work carried out
  • Support cost control and reporting services during the contract
  • Assist with preparing financial reports for the client
  • Support identifying all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges
  • Participate in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by the contractor
  • Advise on the issue of certificates of practical completion and ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed

About You
  • A future or recent graduate with a Part 2 RIBA accredited bachelor's degree or higher in Architectural Design or CIAT accredited bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology
  • 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)

Given the nature of our work, flexibility is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace offices.
