Lead Historian

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head of History to lead our department on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the department, developing the curriculum, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and previous leadership or management experience within a school setting. You will also have a passion for the subject area and a dedication to innovative teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Leading and motivating a team of teachers
• Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies
