Job Title: Electrical Lead Installation Operative

Yunex Traffic is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Installation Operative to join our team. As a key member of our field-based team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining traffic signal assets, including controllers, ancillary equipment, and highways systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of traffic signal assets, including controllers, ancillary equipment, and highways systems
  • Complete electrical tests and pre-commissioning activities
  • Responsible for installation teams and the management of sub-contractors on-site
  • Liaising with customers and other contractors that may be on site
  • Ensuring works are completed in accordance with the site specification, in a timely manner and to a sufficient quality level
Requirements:
  • Industry experience and/or strong electrical and product installation experience
  • HNC / ONC/ City and Guilds or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or similar
  • Co-operative, helpful, willing to use your initiative
  • Accurate, reliable and enjoy getting things right first time
  • Confident working with IT equipment, including a tablet and laptop, and can learn new software
  • Must hold full UK Driving License and we provide a company vehicle and tools for the job
