Role Overview:

WEGTech is seeking an experienced qualified Electrical Engineer to provide a seamless engineering service. The successful candidate will assist senior Engineers and other colleagues to create an excellent customer service experience.

The company has a proud history of developing and installing a range of safety products to the building services sector and in more recent years have fully embraced the use of modern electronic and electrical control systems.

Working independently or in small teams, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, commissioning, installing, and testing a variety of products and devices at customer sites. Strong communication and collaboration skills will be essential for coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will be able to competently commission and fault find any installations after training. They will also consult with the technical department and support the action the roll out of any new procedures or complex projects.

The Electrical Engineer will be able to proactively deal with site situations in a timely manner to ensure results are achieved when Engineering issues arise. They will also assist with training of both direct and indirect engineers and Apprentices.

Requirements:

  1. Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent/ construction background.
  2. City & Guilds 2330
  3. Extended experience of working with electrical systems.
  4. A full UK Driving Licence with at least 2 years driving experience.
  5. Good report writing skills.
  6. Ability to record notes, information, and expenses via a software portal.
