Job Title: Head of Market and Liquidity Risk Manager

IPOE Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Head of Market and Liquidity Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for managing the bank's regulatory documents and risk policy documents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of origination, review, and update of regulatory documents and risk policy documents.
  • Monitor market and liquidity risks on a daily basis and make recommendations to the ALCO committee.
  • Prepare the monthly ALCO pack and present it to the ALCO committee.
  • Run all required liquidity and capital stress testing scenarios.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks within the market and liquidity risk unit.
  • Play a pivotal role in leading the Basel 3.1 implementation efforts.
  • Review and update the bank's risk policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with current and future regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead system automation projects and contribute to regulatory returns.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a prudential risk environment and liquidity risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to assess critically, and excellent report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and a strong understanding of risk management systems.
  • Good knowledge of the general regulatory environment and wider economic and political issues.
  • Ability to read and apply relevant PRA and CRR regulations.
