Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Porter. As a Porter, you will be responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles, delivering cars to customers, and maintaining the car lot in a clean and orderly manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Moves cars from one location to another.
  • Delivers cars to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keeps the car lot clean and organized, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Runs various errands for the dealership, including picking up supplies and delivering documents.
  • Ensures CSI at or above Company standards by providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participates in required training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Fully adheres to Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating a commitment to safety and compliance.
Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is desired but not required. GED, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Doctorate Degree also accepted.

Experience: Previous work experience is desired with up to 3 years of experience preferred. Experience in automotive, sales, or customer service is a plus.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver's License is required. Automobile Salesperson License is also desired.

Skills: Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations: Regular and predictable attendance is expected with scheduled shifts including evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work involves frequent movement around dealership facilities and outdoor car lot, and includes movement in and out of cars.

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
