About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Director to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning and wealth management advice to our clients across the East Anglia region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients to deliver exceptional service and minimize attrition.
    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing relationships.
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Provide comprehensive financial planning and wealth management advice to clients, taking into account their individual needs and goals.
    • Develop and implement financial plans that meet clients' objectives, while considering factors such as retirement planning, inheritance, and tax efficiency.
  • Business Development
    • Work closely with Investment Management and Professional Services colleagues to develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain close relationships with professional advisers to initiate and nurture new business opportunities.
  • Operational Management
    • Ensure comprehensive client records are accurate and up-to-date, in line with Group policy.
    • Maintain the New Business Pipeline and ensure all values and dates are up-to-date.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with industry, regulatory, and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
    • Assist in the induction, mentoring, and development of new Financial Planners.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Holds Chartership within Financial Planning.
    • Experience of working as a Financial Planner.
    • Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging holistic financial planning strategies and solutions.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis.
    • Ability to analyze client information and highlight requirements to make suitable recommendations.
    • Strong relationship management skills.
    • Experience of operating within a risk management framework, together with a thorough understanding of the risks and threats pertaining to a private client business.
