We're committed to supporting our staff in achieving a healthy work-life balance. Our staff wellbeing initiatives include career development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, an annual leave and pension scheme, health and wellbeing packages, and financial support systems.

Job Overview

If you're a qualified NHS physiotherapist looking to enhance your experience across different patient populations and care settings, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Specialised Medicine Therapy team at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Weston Park Hospital.

Main Responsibilities

As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, including early assessment, prevention of deconditioning, urgent respiratory care, and timely discharge planning. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients across various specialties, including Oncology, Haematology, Urology, and Infectious Diseases.

What We Offer

Our team provides a supportive and friendly environment, where staff can share their knowledge and expertise to deliver the best possible care for our patients. We offer excellent in-service training programs, enabling staff to continue with postgraduate training and develop their clinical and leadership skills. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in service improvement and research projects, new innovations, and more.

Person Specification

We're looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, who is able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ideally, you'll have post-registration experience within an acute setting and be able to maintain accurate written records and statistics. You'll also need to be flexible and reliable in your approach to working practices and have a positive, proactive attitude to patient care and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to ongoing professional development. If you have a calm approach to changing work situations and are able to teach and motivate others, we'd love to hear from you.
