About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Transport Clerk to join our team at Blue Arrow. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth running of stock entering and leaving our depot for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pick lists correctly for the warehouse team and allocate stock for moving in and out of the depot
  • Liaise with drivers to ensure deliveries and collections are running smoothly
  • Keep accurate delivery records
  • Recognize and rectify any issues quickly and efficiently
  • Update database and systems to ensure information is correct and up to date for the planning teams

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a similar role, logistics or planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to use multiple systems, such as SAP, TMS, GTS
  • Confident and professional customer service manner
  • Fluent English verbal and written

Important Information:

Please note that this role is based on site, and hybrid/remote working is not possible. You will also be required to pass a drugs and alcohol test on induction and can be tested at random at any time in this role. Additionally, you will come into contact with stock containing alcohol, and for the initial training period, you will be required to work on the morning shift, and then move onto nights.
