Job Description

Progressive / SThree Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Project Engineer with a passion for delivering quality end-to-end projects within the Electrical Mechanical Civil Projects sector.

This permanent position offers exciting opportunities for those ready to take their career to the next level and maintain hands-on involvement throughout every step of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple high-value electrical mechanical civil infrastructure projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor progress against schedules and proactively identify and manage risks to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Coordinate procurement activities on behalf of the company, ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships between our team members as well as vendors/partners involved in each project, ensuring effective collaboration and communication at all times.
Qualifications & Skills Required

To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree or higher qualification related to Engineering (or equivalent industry experience) and previous experience as a Project Engineer, leading & managing other project engineers, including both technical/engineering roles coupled with management/supervision positions held previously.

A salary of up to £70k + Hybrid Working + Benefits package is on offer.

We expect candidates to possess strong commercial acumen capable of executing appropriate strategies/making decisions around budgets/project costs.
