About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead our Data Science Management Team and drive the production of advanced analytics and Machine Learning initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Machine Learning Engineering team, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead the Machine Learning Engineering team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to help them grow in their roles.
  • Platform Development: Maintain, evolve, and develop our platforms to ensure robust, scalable environments for Data Scientists.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, staying current with industry trends and advancements in AI and ML to support the company's data strategy.
  • Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for ML & AI model deployment and monitoring.
Requirements
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background with a proven ability to maintain hands-on technical contribution while managing a team.
  • Experience: Experience of training, evaluating, deploying, and maintaining ML models, with a sound understanding of data warehousing and ETL tools.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in following key tools and technologies, including Python and PySpark for data processing, familiarity with Snowflake, RDBMS, or other databases, experience of working with Cloud infrastructure, and experience of building infrastructure as code using technologies such as Terraform.
  • Soft Skills: Strong drive to master new tools, platforms, and technologies, methodical approach with good attention to detail, and effective communication skills to work with international teams and across cultures.
