Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Mental Health Employment Coach to join our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Support Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with serious mental health difficulties achieve their employment ambitions.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. You will be based in the Hexham Community Treatment Team in South West Northumberland, where you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide award-winning employment support as part of community-based care and treatment.

Main Duties
  • Bilateral engagement with service users to understand their employment aspirations and develop tailored support plans.
  • Collaboration with colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care and treatment.
  • Effective utilisation of IT hardware and software to coordinate communication and documentation.
  • Strategic time management to maximise impact, including travel in the community, visiting service users in their homes, and visiting businesses.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes pension schemes, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
