English Teacher - Daily Supply

About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join our team as a Daily Supply Teacher - English. As an English Teacher - Daily Supply, you will have the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to their learning journey in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring inclusive and accessible education.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and encourage a love of literature and language among students.

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) is essential for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and its applications is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective teamwork and student engagement.
  • A commitment to student welfare and safeguarding is mandatory.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and contexts is essential.
