Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, ideally within a high-end or artisanal chocolate/pastry business.
• Strong knowledge of healthy food trends.
• Experience in mentoring or training junior staff.
• Rigour and attention to detail maintaining high standards of quality and excellence.
• Team-focused mindset and emphatic approach to collaboration.

Responsibilities

1. Produce high-quality pastry products using innovative techniques and health-conscious ingredients.
2. Support our Executive Chef in the production of our chocolate range.
3. Meet production deliverables and deadlines consistently and excellently.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to food storage, safety, and hygiene regulations.
5. Experiment with new recipes and techniques to push the boundaries of traditional pastry.
6. Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies ensuring the kitchen is stocked and organized.
7. Assist in sourcing, supplier management, ordering, receiving, and inventory rotation.
8. Develop training materials and SOPs.
9. Train and mentor junior pastry staff in all processes.
