Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Community Paediatricians to provide a specialist service to children and their families affected by neurodevelopmental disorders.
Main Responsibilities:
- To act as a resource in the care and service provision for children and young people with ADHD and ASD, ensuring they receive quality support and guidance.
- Work alongside and in partnership with Community Paediatricians contributing to multi-professional assessments of ADHD and autism spectrum disorder in children and young people referred to the Community Paediatric Service using up-to-date assessment techniques and tools.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or equivalent qualification. A strong understanding of theoretical approaches to child neuro-developmental problems is essential. Additionally, mobility to travel across sites and the ability to develop links with other professional networks are crucial.
Salary and Benefits:
As a Pediatric Specialist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
