About the Role:

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at our Woodley House residential service in Ruddington. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support, helping them to gain independence and confidence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Teach new life skills, such as cooking and cleaning, to promote independence
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialize, and participate in activities
  • Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, Angelman's syndrome, Down Syndrome, and mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a welcoming and friendly environment

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work a rota, including evenings and weekends
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach
  • Passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities
