We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Zalando. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our company.

About the Role

The Financial Manager will be responsible for managing debtor and creditor relationships, ensuring accurate invoicing and financial reporting. You will work closely with our central services team to maintain and comment on general ledger accounts, and assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage debtor and creditor relationships to ensure timely payment and accurate invoicing
  • Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with the central services team to maintain and comment on general ledger accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Support the annual audit and its processes
  • Prepare and submit various financial reports and documents to HMRC, Tax, R&D claims, and National Statistic requests
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting software SAP (FI) is an asset
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
