About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Lifting Equipment Inspector. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of lifting equipment across various industries, including marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants, and airports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Conduct thorough inspections of pressure systems to identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members

Requirements:

  • HNC level education in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, lifting equipment maintenance)
  • Proven experience in lifting equipment maintenance and inspection
  • Strong knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
