Cyber Security Operations Specialist

We seek a Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join LRQA's Security Operations team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Security Operations and monitor telemetry systems across networks, servers, and endpoints, responding to security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in operating a Microsoft Defender security tooling stack, reviewing alerts, vulnerabilities, investigating incidents, and tuning our detection stack for optimal performance.
  • Maintenance of SC-200 certification is required.
  • Candidates from a penetration testing or security operations background are desired, with a strong understanding of common attack techniques against Windows AD/AAD environments.
  • This role requires creativity, imagination, and a commitment to reducing security risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel and Zscaler security products is necessary.
  • A minimum of SC-300, SC-400 and/or SC-900 certifications is preferred.

The hybrid based working pattern within the UK involves a mix of home and office work for collaboration, team building, and workshops. This includes alternating early, mid, and late shift patterns of no more than 7 hours contracted, with a salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum.
