Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Therapist to join our specialist adult eating disorder service in South Wales. As a Systemic Family Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering systemic family psychotherapy providing systemic assessments and interventions in a ward-based environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Master's or doctorate level qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy accredited by the Association for Family Therapy and Counselling (AFTC) and accreditation with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver systemic family psychotherapy to adults with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Conduct systemic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
