About the Role
Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our operative department, you will be responsible for delivering safe and quality care to patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of theatre practitioners to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient safety and reduce complications.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Circle Health Group's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
- ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
- Approved / recognised anaesthetic course.
- ILS.
- Orthopaedic skill.
- Mentorship qualification.
- ILM3.
- Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
- Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
