Job Summary
A dynamic and organized Patient Transport Operations Coordinator is required to join our team at EMED Group, the largest Patient Transport and Care Partner to the NHS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for dispatching and managing operational crews to ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients between destinations.

The Role
This exciting opportunity requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to manage patient flow across all control areas through effective liaison with colleagues and hospital staff. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant service procedures and standing orders, as well as maintaining and enhancing the performance and quality of service offered to patients and customers.

Responsibilities
* Dispatch and manage operational crews to ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients
* Receive and respond to requests for patient transport and queries regarding ambulance journeys in an accurate, effective, and polite manner
* Maintain patient flow across all control areas through effective liaison with colleagues and hospital staff
* Ensure compliance with relevant service procedures and standing orders
* Maintain and enhance the performance and quality of service offered to patients and customers

Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role or industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
