Female Support Practitioner

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a motivated and empathetic Female Support Practitioner to join our team in Easterhouse. As a full-time Support Practitioner, you will be providing transitional support to help a young lady with Autism and epilepsy learn and develop essential life skills.
About the RoleThis role involves working with the young lady in her early 20's who will be moving into her first home after living with her parents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist her with all aspects of daily living, including meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments and activities, managing personal finances, and providing prompts with personal care.
Responsibilities- Assist the young lady with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
- Support the young lady with medication management and attending medical appointments.
- Encourage the young lady to participate in activities and hobbies, such as jigsaw puzzles and watching movies.
- Help the young lady manage her personal finances and make responsible decisions.
- Female with a caring and empathetic nature.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in using computers.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own.
- Good organisational skills.
