Job Title: Teaching Assistant Position in Special Needs

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the North West, working with students with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, promoting positive learning environments, and enhancing their overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with special educational needs, developing strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant teaching assistant experience, a strong understanding of child development, and excellent communication skills. You will also require eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
