We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Mary Washington Healthcare.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Assist with orientation and education of new staff members.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license from Virginia or reciprocal compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
- AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
- AHA ACLS Provider required within 6 months.
- NRP required within 6 months.
