Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled Investments Analyst to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our discretionary managed portfolios, ensuring they align with our strategic and tactical asset allocation framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of our discretionary managed portfolios, focusing on product governance, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and portfolio implementation.
  • Collaborate with our Research function to devise appropriate portfolio implementation strategies.
  • Develop and produce investment management MI, providing reports and attending departmental committees as required.
  • Engage with other areas of the business to support growth and ensure portfolio updates are communicated to investors.
  • Train, mentor, and develop future employees in the department.
  • Support the business in achieving regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant Level IV QCF Qualification or equivalent (working towards in the short term).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced report writing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary up to £35,000 (dependent on experience), starting holiday entitlement of 25 days increasing up to 31 days with length of service, and a range of benefits, including:
