Project Engineer (Electrical) Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our dynamic team in Fife. As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager with the management of Electrical Installation and Maintenance projects for heavy industrial plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager with project planning, coordination, and execution
  • Manage Electrical Installation and Maintenance projects for heavy industrial plant
  • Provide field support for electricians
  • Conduct surveys, design, quotations, and project costing
  • Manage project folders, test equipment calibration, and inventory
  • Populate Microsoft Access and schedule daily work for core staff and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience in project engineering or related roles, with a strong emphasis on technology-led solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and international engineering codes and standards

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of industrial systems
  • Experience working within a Heavy Industrial background, including Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, and Oil & Gas
