Job Title: Global Market Risk Program Lead

Citigroup Global Markets Limited is seeking a highly skilled Global Market Risk Program Lead to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Fundamental Risk of the Trading Book (FRTB) capabilities in accordance with regulatory rules and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of FRTB capabilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Represent Global Market Risk on US regulatory interactions, collaborating with the Regulatory Relations team to ensure effective communication and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a best-in-class governance framework for FRTB, including SA and SA-CVA calculations, rule interpretation, and associated governance, process, and controls.
  • Review and challenge Markets 1st Line processes and controls, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee comprehensive end-to-end testing strategy and plan for FRTB SA and SA-CVA, ensuring seamless implementation and compliance.
  • Represent Citi on relevant regional industry and regulatory working groups, promoting best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive the strategic direction of the initiative, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and analyze key metrics to monitor and drive the governance and control agenda, ensuring effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with knowledge of regulatory expectations for best-in-class governance, FRTB SA regulatory rule specifications, industry calculation approach, and rule interpretations.
  • Prior experience in delivering best-in-class FRTB SA from the risk viewpoint, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Cross-functional working experience for enterprise regulatory programs, with a proven track record of working with or in US regulatory bodies on industry and regulatory matters.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence counterparts in different areas of the organization, working across geographies and functions.
  • Quick learner, team-oriented, with strong organizational, project management, and presentation skills, able to prioritize and drive results in a deadline-driven environment.
