Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to support young learners in achieving their full potential. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and ensure that all students are engaged and motivated in their learning.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering high-quality educational support.
  • Support individual and small groups of students with their learning activities.
  • Help to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
  • Supervise students during break and lunchtimes.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to have a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £92,000 per year, depending on experience.
