Construction Paralegal

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Paralegal to join our Transaction Services Team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our construction lawyers, assisting with drafting legal documents, managing projects, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake drafting of legal documents, including letters, notices, collateral warranties, and other documents.
- Manage and project manage aspects of projects, including collateral warranty and appointment collation.
- Prepare and issue third-party rights notices.
- Create, organize, and manage electronic data sites, uploading documentation and liaising with third parties.
- Undertake initial reviews of documentation received in respect of due diligence projects.
- Direct contact with clients and other third parties, as well as supporting team members with drafting, reporting, and working on construction projects.
- Monitor the status of projects using appropriate trackers and provide regular updates on matter progress.
- Provide ad hoc support to various construction projects.
- Check legal documents for quality, consistency, and content.
- Attend client and internal meetings.
- Monitor fee estimates and client engagement tasks, as well as assist with billing processes.
