Job Summary

Pertemps is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's premises in Kettering.

Main Responsibilities
  • Security: You will be responsible for maintaining the security of our premises, including patrolling the site, checking intruder alarms, and ensuring all unnecessary lights and equipment are switched off.
  • Building Maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining, decorating, and performing minor repairs to plant equipment, furniture, fixtures, and the fabric of the building.
  • Grounds Maintenance: You will be responsible for ensuring all hard areas, grassed areas, drives, surrounds, and grounds are kept neat and free of litter.
  • Portering: You will provide portering services between all College departments, including delivering parcels, setting up rooms for college activities, and emptying recycling and waste bins.
Requirements
  • You must have experience in a previous Facilities/Maintenance role.
  • You must have a British driving licence.
