Key Responsibilities- Provide Legal Advice: Offer expert legal advice to the business on all aspects of healthcare law, including mental health law, medical malpractice, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee Case Load: Oversee a diverse case load of contentious litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Regulatory Advice: Provide specific regulatory advice to the business in relation to Elysium's regulators, including CQC, HIW, and Ofsted.
- Policy Development: Draft operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Present training in all aspects of healthcare law to the business, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Qualifications: Be a qualified solicitor/barrister with multiple years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience: Have previous experience in an in-house environment, preferably in a healthcare or regulatory setting.
- Skills: Be tenacious and hardworking, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
