About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, listening to customers and helping to resolve any issues
  • Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring the store is well-stocked and customer-facing areas are maintained
  • Lead by example, setting a high standard for customer service and store operations
  • Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
  • Monitor and maintain store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

  • A competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills
  • A minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work additional hours
