Job Summary:

NHS Highland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our Renal and Systemic Therapies Unit as a Senior Staff Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with significant experience in SACT and intravenous administration of treatments for autoimmune diseases to contribute to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care within the Systemic Therapies Unit, leading the team on a daily basis and coordinating patient care and management of the unit.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Charge Nurse to shape the delivery of the service and facilitate change within the unit.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless patient care and management.
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the unit, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in SACT and intravenous administration of treatments for autoimmune diseases.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead others to achieve shared goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence.
