Postal Delivery Assistant

We are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source a skilled Postal Delivery Worker to join their team.
Location: Okehampton Delivery Office
Hours: Seasonal work, 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday
Hourly Rate: £16.58 per hour PAYE, Monday to Saturday
Sunday Rate: £17.19 per hour
The Royal Mail is a well-established brand, providing postal delivery services to millions of people across the UK. As a Postal Delivery Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
- Adhere to Royal Mail's policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry mailbags
