About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Group Technical Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team in navigating technical accounting group essentials.
  • Monitor existing and new accounting policies to remain compliant with IFRS and regulations.
  • Cross departmental collaboration through tax, treasury, legal, and M&A.
  • Facilitate external auditors and advisors.
  • Lead across all IFRS reporting.
Requirements
  • ACA qualified, either straight from practice within an accounting advisory team or within an industry role in a technical accounting team.
  • Multinational company experience, ideally, UK or US listing.
  • Strong working experience of IFRS 9, 15 & 16, SOX, and internal frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations & requirements.
  • The ability to challenge current processes, to promote continuous development.
