Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading Engineering business to find a skilled Hardfacing Operative for their Sheffield team.

We are seeking a motivated individual to apply protective hardfacing coatings to oil & gas drilling equipment, ensuring top-notch quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply hardfacing coatings with precision and care
  • Maintain high-quality standards
  • Operate hand tools, grinding, and cutting equipment effectively
  • Work efficiently in a hot environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:

  • A strong can-do attitude and commitment to excellence
  • Experience with Oxy-Acetylene gas brazing (Nickel bronze and Silver soldering skills) is a plus
  • Familiarity with hand grinding/cutting tools is advantageous
  • Experience with cylindrical machine grinding is a plus but not required
