Main Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hockey Coach to provide coaching for pupils throughout the school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hockey and the ability to motivate and engage pupils of various levels and abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching pupils on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings during term time, with the possibility of travelling with pupils to away fixtures as required.

The job will involve working with pupils of various ages and abilities, and the successful candidate will need to be able to adapt their coaching style to meet the needs of each individual.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality coaching to pupils of various ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement coaching plans to meet the needs of each pupil
  • Work with pupils to improve their hockey skills and knowledge
  • Travel with pupils to away fixtures as required
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in hockey and the ability to motivate and engage pupils. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A formal hockey coaching qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of hockey gained through previous experience of playing hockey and/or coaching hockey to pupils up to age 17
  • An enthusiastic and inclusive approach to coaching hockey
  • The ability to cater to pupils of various levels and abilities
