About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Mental Health Support Team. The successful candidate will work closely with education settings to provide therapeutic interventions to families and young people.

The Mental Health Practitioner will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, providing clinical supervision to trainee Education and Mental Health Practitioners, and working closely with school staff to support children, young people, and families.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working in child and adolescent mental health, with a strong understanding of the range of child and adolescent mental health services. They will also have excellent communication and assessment skills, with the ability to relate to young people and families.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, working closely with community partners and developing relationships between the MHST and educational settings. They will contribute to the formation and delivery of care plans for young people within the MHST team and facilitate referrals to other services as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
